TireGard Motorcycle Trike Tire Air Pressure Monitor click to see video

I've had them on my wing for 3/4 months now, and the system works great for me. I velcro'ed the monitor to my speedo compartment base so I can see it from time to time. Notice the air pressure increases like 10 F when tires get up to temp from riding.
I did get the monitor wet by forgetting to remove it first b/4 washing the bike. Now have a small spot partially blocking one tire reading! Will send it in this winter for repair.

WOW! These tires are great! Installed the Centramatic Wheel Balancers with the Avon Cobras on my 2008 Wing. Best ride ever and I have been a Dunlop Elite / Wing Man for 29 years. Handles turns like being on a rail. My next set of tires will be the Avon Cobra.

I love these tires. A previous reviewer said after 10,200 miles his tread was 25% gone. Well if that's bad mileage, what's good. This means that the reviewer would get around 40,000 miles on the rear tire, more if he's not pulling a trailer. I seriously doubt he will get that much. On my 1500 I get around 16,000 miles with this rear tire. I get twice as much with the front. I suppose I could get more if I slowed down a bit! LOL
These tires are far superior in wet traction than the Dunlops. I ride all year so I know what they are like in the real world. Wet or dry, they are great handling tires. I don't know about dunlop, but Michelin tested these tires in the real world in all kinds of weather.

It seemed to work initially. A few weeks without riding and I noticed after riding, it lost any reading from the rear sensor. Shows a high reading that stays constantly at 46 psi. Took the rear sensor off and noticed that the rear sensor reading never changes. Standard tire pressure gauge shows actual being normal at 5-6 lbs less than the tireguard reading. just simply doesnt work!!

I have been running the Centramatic Balancers since mid July - I purchased mine at Wing Ding. I did the install myself on my 06' GL1800 with ABS. I'm here to tell you my bike has never been so smooth. Prior to installation I had some cupping on the front tire (was running E3's) and after a week with the balancers the cupping was completely gone. At that time I had 18K miles on my tires and I rode them for another 4K miles before replacing the tires. I had my mechanic (independent shop)ride the bike with the balancers and he immediately called and became a dealer. That's how impressed he was with the balancers. These are the single best investment I have made for my Wing. As the old TV commercial said - Try it you'll like it. As for the low rating given by Trev, well maybe he needs to first get rid of the car tire he is riding. Not only are car tires not designed for motorcycles, but they are dangerous in corners - do a search on UTUBE for Goldwing with car tire and watch the road level video - sobering to say the least! Keep the rubber side down

Dyna Beads Motorcycle Tire Ceramic Balancing Beads

Reviewer: CarlGlas
Like many, I was skeptical at first and wondered if this was nothing more than snake oil. Either the new Dunlop E3 Radials and rims are perfectly balanced or the beads work. No vibration was felt from zero to highway speeds. Installation through the valve stem is simple if you allow beads to go in slowly while tapping the valve stem. They work for me and I recommend them.

A rotating mass in balance should not vibrate as graphically shown in their own video. A Wing in neutral at 2500 rpm on the main stand does not vibrate.
These things are not mounted on the Wing as per their video demo. (the ring is mounted on the outer edge of the rim on a small wheel in the video, (it is inside the disc diameter on a Wing). Why not set up a Wing rear wheel with the single centramatic for the demo. My basic test has shown the rear wheel did not balance. It may be that the front wheel when fitted with two balancers will work.

10 stars not on drop down.... I have never felt a better smoother ride. Well worth it and the first 7,000 miles of new tires looked more like only half that. 700-1,000 mile day ride seem easier and less tiring. As for the only low rating above.... I am glad it was mentioned that a car tire was used with the balance ring. A car tire will require more weight than what is inside intended for a GL1800 rated rear tire. There is a reason that the competitor has tire size charts for the correct weight usage. You will notice an improvement on the front (with "trike" kit).

I got my new Avon Cobra from Wingstuff and had it installed. Was planing on putting the Dyna Beads threw the stem but that was a no go I beleave they have to be put in the tire with installation. I took out the little insert & let the air out of the tire & put the tube in the tire stem but they would not fall in. Tryed to blow them in also but that did not work so now I will have to wait until I do work on the tire of get a new one. Wish the instruction said they need to be put inside the tire at installation. I recomend putting them in at installation.

I bought these from WingStuff and had them installed at Venco Wings.

my '08 wing was smooth before the installation and the ride was even better after.

an interesting note here. I called and spoke to Centramatic before ordering and was advised to run 41 to 42 pounds of air in the front and 42 in the rear - which I now do, +/- a half a pound.

at first I was bothered by the construction, but since these are warranted, I chose to ignore that for now and give them a try.

would I install them again? YUP!

I ordered the balancers and will soon be putting them on my 1800. The finish is a bit rough, but not horrific. The rear balancer will be hidden. No big deal. The front balancers will barely be visable (I have chrome brake rotor covers). Again, no big deal if they perform as advertised.

I am not sure testing them while the bike is on it's center stand is prudent or altogether wise/safe. As for testing in this manner, the rear wheel assembly would basically be floating with only the swing arm supporting the wheel configuration. This doesn't/wouldn't seem to compare to how the wheel and it's assembly would react when on the ground supporting the weight of the bike as it's being driven down the road. Hmmm . . .

Certainly, using a car tire for a rear wheel solution is not safe (there has been a lot written and there is a lot of published evidence that would speak against this practice). In fact, my 1800 mechanic told me about an accident that killed the driver and his wife where a car tired was used for the rear. The driver apparently lost control around a corner, which is what is typically written about when someone elects to use a car tire and when an accident occurs . . .

In my humble opinion, the extra miles offered, etc., by using a car tire is not worth the risk.

Anyway, I am expecting a great experience with these balancers based on all of the feedback. Except for how they look, all of the feedback reading many different boards tells me that they are the cat's meow - I'll let you know!

Having received these units, as others have said, very poor finish. Mine look like they were sand blasted and painted to a very rough finish, like sand paper to the touch. I had thought from the video that these things have a Moly oil in the ring? Why do mine sound dry when moving the bike by hand?
I have only fitted the rear so far as it cannot be seen. Started the bike on the main stand and let it run in 5th gear up to 80 kph indicated speed. My trunk lid was unlatched and was bouncing up and down. I do run a car tire on the rear but so far am not convinced about these things.
I am unlikely to fit the front units due to there ugly appearance and poor finish.

They have been on my bike for about 500 miles now. Awesome tracking. Stick to the road better and I have more confidence in turning. Now I have to move my pegs up higher. Even if these tires do not last long with the great handling I would buy them again Until you get use to them you may over steer a bit until you learn they turn so easy. I do on the other hand wish I got the 60 size because they are a little bit shorter and wider tire. The Honda dealer told me these are a little like sport tires.
Awesome tire that also throws the water away better then any tire I have used.

I got over 17,000 miles on my E3's.Had them intalled @ Sunrise Honda in Searcy,Ar.( great store ) when on a trip there. Put in Dyna Beads and Nitrogen. Having to replace rear tire because of a nail. Only 9500 miles on it and it has more than half the tread left. I'll only put on E3's till someone can prove they have something better.

Installed two week ago. Did not get them from WingsnStuff as it was taking too long with the back ordering system they have so got them from another vendor. Two days later went on a drive to Belgium, what a difference. Its not a subtle difference its noticeable immediately. It’s like driving on tracks. The tires I had on were slightly cupped despite having only small mileage but as the miles piled on the cupping slowly disappeared. The handling is superb with no vibration through the handlebars, its laser straight. Like all comments I too was amazed how badly these balance rs are made. They claim they are making them for over forty years, if so somebody needs to be made unemployed soon. How in Gods name did America get to the moon, very obviously they didn’t need balance rs? But that aside for the sheer improvement in handling buy them now!!

So far so good. Put 580 miles on with the American Legion and no issues. They tracked well and didn't try to follow the traction grooves in the road. They are very quiet no matter the road surface from worn concreate to pavement. Is is now raining here in Bremerton Washington and the traction has been great so far. No suprises and much better than the OEM tires. The slow speed handling continures to be excellent and the freeway performance is great. No issues with uneven wear no problems with cupping after 1500 miles.

4 months later since last review, and had a screw in the tire last week at Big Bend. This device I am sure saved me from a lot worse situation. After I had to air the tire up twice and while on the third time, cause the monitor alarm went off and told me it was low, a day between the last air up, I looked close at the tire and found the screw and slow leak. I know it could have been a lot worse if the tire got real low while I was on I-10 going 80 to 85mph. ( regular speed limit is 80) I was also pulling a fully loaded trailer. I really like this over the new stock ones on the 2009 wings since you do not have to be moving for them to work. While I am on any trip I leave the unit on 24hrs and does not drain the battery, I only turn it off when the wing is at home sleeping.
