I put another 200 or so miles on the wheel balancers. Yes - definately a difference and a smooth ride. As per my earlier review, you can hear the beads sloshing around a bit at slower speeds (<10 or so mph), but it's not hugely annoying. The ride is great, although somewhat expensive. I would buy them again. I like a smooth ride. If you have the money, you can't go wrong, take the plunge. Good stuff!

These are great tires! I currently have 6700 miles on them...one trip from Arkansas to Phoneix, Vegas LA, PCH 1,Monterey,Marysville, CA and back. 118 deg. heat, 2 sandstorms, w/ torrential rain and NO failure! These are confidence inspiring in the rain, track well with no slipping, even at maximum lean! I'm hoping for the mileage close or equal to the E3 Dunlops: 17,000 miles, with no cupping! I don't have the Traxxion fork, or the Centramatic balancers, but I do watch my pressure with a Dowco monitor; 41 psi in both. If the mileage is there, I'll definately get another set!

In my past review I gave 3 stars because the paint was peeling off. The company contacted me, after reading the review and explained they did have a bad batch go out. They sent me another set, overnight, and I had them installed. They work great. No wheel weights on the wheels and at 50 or 90 mph the wing is as smooth as glass. They work great. The local city police department here use Goldwings as their police motorcycles and have installed a set on one of the traffic bikes. I talked to one of the traffic cops and he said they are great and hope to get them on all the police wings.

Just installed (front and rear), along with new front brake pads. Put 50 miles on them this morning; the ride is very smooth compared to before the installation. I am still testing, but feel they perform better than just "good."

They make some noise - I can hear the beads slosh around inside the tubes at <20mph. Not overly bothersome - time will tell . . .

As of today, I would say a good purchase. The "ride" itself is very good. I will update my post once I have more experience under my belt.

I’ve run Metzler, Bridgestone, Dunlop and now the Avon. My tires where wearing out every 4k-7k miles with bad cupping and it didn’t matter about the brand. I installed the Traxxion front-end which stopped my wobble and cupping issues. Post Traxxion I put on the Avon tires and like the other reviews there was less road noise, they are great handling and I’m pleased with the wear. I’m having no issues and will buy a new set when the time comes.

I’m guessing if I didn’t have the front-end worked on the GL1800 would have ate these tires up too. The GL1800 is an interesting animal … so many different handling experiences from riders.

Anyway, five stars from me. I’m including a link below which shows my Elite 3 after a blowout, my new Avon pre and post install and a handful of photos with 8,000 miles on them … judge for yourself. On a side note, I run the bike pretty hard.

Good luck and safe riding – James.

Only am going to get approx. 9000 miles on the factory Dulops. No vibration noticed, minimal cupping. Am going with Stones before I go on a 4000 mile road trip this June. Will report on them after I have put on some miles. 1 Star for now due to the fact I have not ridden on them yet!

I went from Dunlop 3's to the Metzlers and loved the change on my 1500. I think the Metz ride much better w/o nearly the road whine. I just changed the rear out w/12K but the front has alot of tread left. We ride dbl up and usually haul a camper trailer so the cupping on the rear was to be expected. Be sure to monitor your air pressure w/these. My dealer recommended 45psi. I expect I'll be a Metz man from now on.

I have had my Centramatic balancer on for about 5 months now. After installing, I noticed a significant difference in the handling of the bike. Having put them on my own bike, about 6 other Goldwinger have had me install them on their bikes. They all have the same positive impressions. Some here have expressed comments about the costs of the balancers. Well, I would counter that we all spend a lot of money on "safety chrome" and think nothing of it. Here is a chance to spend some money on something that will give one a ROI and at the same time there is a side benifit of improved handling and tire longivity. Money well spent!

The principle behind the product is dead on. Balancing your tire through it’s life has to be a good thing. However, keeping cost in mind, one has to wonder the benefit that this product has versus adding 4 Oz of balancing beads. It would be great to have testing done against both of these products. One cost you $10 bucks every tire change while the other cost $250 but only once. It's hard to think of my next 25 tire change outs before I break even.

Excellent product! I can't believe how well the beads have performed. The thing I like best is that beads respond to changes in the tire as it wears.

I got this out from the left saddlebag today and fired it up. It works good and rapidly builds up air pressure. Since the 1800 came out. We've lost the air shocks the 1500 sported and Honda removed the air pump. Anyone with an 1800 should consider this as a valuable part of their tire repair kit.

The beauty of this kit is that I can use the battery charger pigtail that I have connected to the battery. It uses the standard 1 exposed - 1 covered style connector. I did increase the rating on the fuse. I dropped a 20amp in place of the battery charger's 3 amp.

Getting double duty from the connector and having a fused line makes connecting up the air compressor a snap.

Nice compact carrying case - fits into the little cubby in the rear of the left saddlebag.

Bought the 2 tire monitor, easily installed, works great. Going on long cross-country trip in 3 months, will see how well it functions on the open road! Good buy so far. Constantly monitors tire pressures, this could alert you to problems early and avoid a wild ride when tire pressure problems become dangerous.

Compared to the slippery Dunlops, these tires inspire confidance. They stick, they are quiet and so far, after one season of riding, they hold up well.

This tire inflator works great, I thought it would take forever to inflate my tire but after running for about a minute my tire went from 15psi to 40psi. It is perfectly sized so you can take it with you anywhere. I love it!!

Just installed a set of these along with the centramatic balancers on my 06 wing. I only got about 15000 miles with the origional Dunlops wich were very worn out a cupped when I replaced them. I have been a Dunlop rider for years, but the Stones reviews were better, so I went with these. I did put the 70 on the back, and I am happy so far!! Will let you know how these last in comparison with the 250's.

Just installed the new powder coated balancers on my 2006 goldwing. So far they work great with the balancing of the tires, will see what kind of milage I get out of the Bridgestones I installed with them. Took on the challenge to change my own tires with a good friend who is also a GWRRA associate, and he showed me alot about installing tires, make sure you know what you are doing before you try this yourself. Would have been nice if they had paperwork or stamps in the center that states which side goes next to the rim. I read many reviews about the paint problems others were having, and I love the powder coat, will see how they hold up to the hear and rain of the South Carolina weather. Will keep you informed with the status.

Well, gave a review 5 months ago about the poor workmanship on the product. Paint flaking off and peeling on all 3 units. Was contacted by the company that they had a bad batch get pass them and they would replace the ones I had. I thought that this was going to be great relationship with this company. 5 months later no word or replacement. Getting ready to go on a trip so had to spend $150.00 for the dealer to put them on, flaking paint and all. Hope they work better than they look.
Will give another review after a thousand miles or so, if they don't rust off first. :-).....

This is one of those products that you ask yourself..."How do I rate this"? I guess it looks good and if I ever have to use it I'll update this review. Hopefully I never have to take it out of its package. Two long trips planned this summer...Stay tuned!
